Concerns for Australia
Alex Carey’s absence may hurt Australia as the left-handed batter can provide stability to the team in the middle overs, especially against the spinners. Josh Inglis has been named into the playing 11 where the batter can hit lusty blows at the back end of the innings. Aussies would be aiming to post a total in excess of 280 as there are chances that dew may come into play.
All eyes would be on Kuldeep Yadav as the left-arm chinaman would be keen to make a case for themselves for the upcoming ODI WC 2023. It would be interesting to see whether Ravindra Jadeja can replicate his form into the ODI format as the all-rounder is making comeback to the ODI arena after July 2022.
