teams
competed

the
tournament.
Season
1
and
2
were
competed
by
five
teams,
while
seasons
3,
4,
5,
6
and
7
saw
six
teams
battle
for
the
coveted
title
with
the
addition
of
Multan
Sultans
to
the
existing
five.
Also,
2016
season
was
completely
held
in
UAE
in
Dubai
and
Sharjah,
while
2021
season
was
partially
held
in
Abu
Dhabi.
The
remaining
editions
were
held
across
venues
in
Pakistan.
Who
won
PSL
most?
In
the
7
editions
of
the
Pakistan
Super
League
so
far,
Islamabad
United
has
been
the
most
successful
side
with
2
titles
to
it’s
name,
followed
by
the
five
other
teams,
who
have
won
the
title
at
least
once.
Islamabad
United
won
the
PSL
title
in
the
inaugural
edition
in
2016
and
in
the
2018
edition.
Peshawar
Zalmi,
who
won
the
second
edition,
have
made
the
most
final
appearance
with
one
win
and
three
defeats
in
the
summit
clash.
Three-time
finalists
Quetta
Gladiators
has
won
the
title
once
in
2019,
while
Karachi
Kings
lifted
the
title
in
their
only
final
appearance
in
2020.
Two-time
finalist
Multan
Sultans
won
the
title
in
2021.
Lahore
Qalandars,
who
finished
runners
up
in
2020,
won
the
title
in
2022.
Over
the
seasons,
different
player
from
Pakistan,
including
Babar
Azam,
Mohammed
Rizwan,
Sohaib
Maqsood
and
Kamran
Akmal
have
won
the
Player
of
the
Tournament.
