India got off to a good start in the powerplay when Mohammed Siraj dismissed inform batter Travis Head for just 5 runs in the second over. Mitchell Starc was unplayable in his first spell, dismissing Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Shubman Gill for low scores.
